eXtension Goat Industry Community of Practice
The revitalization of the eXtension Goat Industry Community of Practice (CoP) has potential beneficial ramification nationwide. Millions of U.S. citizens are familiar with the Cooperative Extension Service and over the years have become familiar with eXtension (https://impact.extension.org/). The renovation of the Goat Industry Community of Practice website (https://goats.extension.org/) will provide millions of citizens access to a ono-stop shop and will not need to search numerous websites of the collaborating institutions.
Internal Parasite Control Meeting
Thirteen goat producers were educated on internal parasite control via a Zoom meeting. Eleven of those 13 participants took a post-training quiz and 100% passed the quiz. Thus, an exceptional rate of knowledge transfer. Three of the 11 quiz-passers demonstrated the skill to conduct the COVER, PUSH, PULL, POP technique required to successfully implement FAMACHA practices in their management.
